Eight ways in, one clear checklist for each
Every application shares a common core. Each visa type then asks for a few things specific to it — shown in full below.
CORE — required for every application
- Valid passport — issued within the last 10 years, valid 3+ months beyond your stay, with 2 blank pages
- 2 passport photos — 35×45mm, white background, taken in the last 6 months
- Completed application form
- Travel medical insurance — minimum €30,000 Schengen-wide coverage
- Proof of accommodation in Malta
- Proof of sufficient funds — recent bank statements
- Biometric fingerprint enrollment — done in person, we'll tell you where
For enrolling at one of our partnered schools.
- Certificate of enrollment confirming your place
- Proof of tuition payment or financial sponsorship
- Academic transcripts or qualifying certificates
- Accommodation confirmation for the duration of study
For taking up employment with a partnered company.
- Signed employment contract or formal offer letter
- Employer's authorization to hire foreign workers
- Degree certificates or qualifications matching the role
- CV and relevant work history
For relocating without a tied study or work reason.
- Proof of accommodation for the full stay
- Proof of sufficient ongoing financial means
- Local sponsor details, if applicable
For tourism or a short personal visit.
- Return flight booking or full travel itinerary
- Invitation letter, if staying with a host rather than a hotel
- Core documents below are generally sufficient beyond this
For meetings, conferences, or short business trips.
- Invitation letter from the host company detailing purpose
- Proof of who is covering travel and accommodation costs
For passing through en route to another destination.
- Onward travel proof — a connecting flight or ticket
- Visa for your final destination, if required
